♦ Calibration system -VAS 721 001-
Preparation
Important
● Observe → Rep. gr.98; Necessity of calibration.
● There must be no entries in the event memory that would hinder calibration.

– Check camera images on display unit.
– Check cameras, holders and fasteners for damage, manipulation and secure fit.
– Read and clear event memory using → Vehicle diagnostic tester.
– Roll out calibration fields on left and right next to vehicle.
Important
● Arrows -1- must point in direction of travel.
– Install end strips to front and rear of calibration fields.
– Align calibration fields on left and right next to vehicle.
Important
● Crosshair -2- must be centred to the front wheel on both sides of the vehicle.
● Dimension -a- = 2000 mm - 2500 mm ±5 mm must be the same at front and rear.
● Dimension -b- must be the same on both sides.
● Dimension -c- must be the same on both sides.
Calibrating
Important
● → Vehicle diagnostic tester connected.
– Carry out function “Calibrate overhead view camera system” using → Vehicle diagnostic tester → Rep. gr.00; Access to diagnoses.
